I've never played. Where do I start?
Read the guide on the Get started page and drop by a weekly league at a store near you (see the map on the Stores page). There is always someone happy to teach, and a ready-to-play deck is enough for your first games.
How do I sign up for a store tournament?
Store events are listed on Ravensburger's Play Hub, where you sign up. Our Events page gathers the ones at Portuguese stores. Price, time and prizes are set by each store.
What is a prerelease?
It's a store event where you play with a new set before it reaches other retailers. The most common format is Sealed: you open 6 boosters and build a 40-card deck on the spot, from any inks and with no copy limit. The Prerelease Box includes the 6 boosters, damage dice and a promo card.
What should I bring to a tournament?
For Constructed, your deck of at least 60 cards, in sleeves that all match and have opaque backs, and something to track lore and damage. Competitive and Premier events also need a registered decklist, on Play Hub or on paper. At a prerelease you build the deck there, so sleeves and a lore tracker are enough.
What's the difference between a Set Championship, DLC, CCQ and Championship?
A Set Championship is each set's main store tournament. DLCs (Disney Lorcana Challenge) are the season's big events, with thousands of players, and CCQs are community-run qualifiers: both award invites to the continental Championship (Europe's is at Disneyland Paris). The best players from the Championships go on to Worlds.
Which cards can I use at a tournament?
It depends on the format. Core Constructed allows cards from set 9 (Fabled) onwards; Infinity allows every card except banned ones. New sets are legal from their prerelease. The details are in the guide, under Formats.
Can I practise online?
Yes: duels.ink runs in the browser and the official Disney Lorcana TCG Companion app has a tutorial. Ravensburger has also announced an official digital game for 2027.
Where can I see which decks people are playing?
On the Meta page: every week there's a report with the standout decks and, for each archetype, the most played builds.
